MB Dark Tower 64
A downloadable game
Coded in Commodore BASIC V2 for the C64 and compiled with the Blitz!/AustroComp compiler, this game is a single-player adaptation of the original 1981 Milton Bradley Dark Tower electronic board game hybrid. It is derived from the original "Obsidian Spire" game listing from Edwin Nagle that appeared in the February 26th edition of his Compute's Gazette Magazine. It preserves many game play ideas introduced in Obsidian Spire, such as the all-text visuals and grid-like kingdoms with the north/south/east/west movement, but it also re-implements other game play aspects to more closely resemble the Dark Tower board game it is based on. It further expands on Obsidian Spire by adapting more game features from Dark Tower, such as the Wizard of Curses and the Flying Pegasus, and it adds additional sound effects and music that resemble those from the original Dark Tower board game.

Nice game. I added it to the video along with other games released in August.
Thank you for including MB DarkTower 64 in your August video round-up of recently released C64 games. I am both honored and humbled to see MB DarkTower 64 presented along with those many fine C64 games.
